I make a broad range of items from belts, wallets and phone cases to bookmarks, key fobs, roses and so much more. I specialise in small leather goods that are all hand stained, the more colourful the better! All items are hand stitched. If you are looking for a long lasting personalised leather item please get in touch.
A little about me, to start with a friend showed me the basics of saddle stitching and then I bought my own tools and practiced, read books about leather craft, watched videos and practiced some more. I was soon moved out of the house and into the studio because of the noise I was creating. I also managed to break a piece of marble in half… So that was the start, there might still be lots of leather off cuts and bits on the floor but I am now the self-taught owner of Jo’s Leather Crafts, and love making all things leather.
I now have plenty of years experience under my belt (so to speak!) and create all kinds of leather goods in all different styles, most of my items are my own templates made from scratch. The studio has now been entirely taken over and there's rolls of leather everywhere. The studio can be visited by appointment to discuss commissions or to drop in repairs, I spend most of my days in there with my dog by my side, she gets covered in lots of leather pieces but she doesn't seem to mind!
